Access to EFRA Data Sources Through the EFRA DataHub

The EFRA Platform now provides open access to its curated collection of foodsafety data sources through the EFRA DataHub, the central repository supporting data discovery, harmonisation, and integration across the EFRA ecosystem. The DataHub is available at: https://www.efraplatform.eu/datahub/

All EFRA DataHub datasets are freely accessible through the EFRA Data & Analytics Marketplace, which serves as the unified entry point for browsing and downloading EFRA data assets. Users can access the catalogue at: https://eframarketplace.agroknow.com/data

To view the available EFRA data sources, users must register in the EFRA Marketplace, a process that is free of charge and designed to ensure secure and reliable access to EFRA resources. Once registered, users can browse the full dataset catalogue, view detailed metadata, and download datasets directly through the Marketplace interface. This streamlined access supports research, analytics, and decisionsupport activities across the foodsafety domain.

In addition to exploring existing datasets, registered Marketplace users can also submit new data sources directly to the EFRA DataHub. This submission capability is intentionally limited to authenticated users (still at no cost) to ensure that only verified contributors can add new datasets. This approach safeguards the credibility, traceability, and quality of the EFRA DataHub, ensuring that all published data sources meet the project’s standards for reliability and relevance.

The EFRA DataHub plays a central role in the project’s data infrastructure, supporting harmonised metadata, interoperability, and seamless integration with EFRA’s analytical components. By combining free access to EFRA datasets with a controlled and transparent contribution process, the platform encourages wider participation while maintaining the integrity of the EFRA data ecosystem.

This development reinforces EFRA’s commitment to open, highquality data access and provides users with a dependable pathway to explore, download, and contribute datasets that support foodsafety innovation.
